Centrepoint's Holiday Programmes have a different performance focus each holidays. From storytelling and improv, to script and devising, your children will be introduced to new skills in a playful and fun environment. Kids are tutored by a professional performer and finish the week showcasing the skills they have gained to an audience of family and friends.

These programmes offer a safe and playful environment where it is easy to take risks and try out new skills. From the absolute beginner to a performance pro, our holiday programmes are fun and engaging weeks of creativity.

Junior Company

For ages 13-15 • $150 / term
Begins Term 2 • Thursdays, 4PM-5.30PM

Junior Company is a new initiative in 2018 for up-and-coming performers not yet old enough to join Basement Company. The programme will run for a full year but is an opt in/opt out choice each term. This programme is for young artists who are seeking professional level performance training and experience.

They have a core tutor all year with visiting professionals as guest tutors. Each term, students will work towards a showcase exploring a different style and form to build experience and skills through performance. On top of these skills, we are teaching active listening, collaboration, creative thinking and leadership.

Adult Company

For ages 22+ • $200 / term
Next intake in Term 2 Tuesdays, 7PM-9PM

This program will involve learning performance skills that can be used beyond the theatre such as confidence in front of an audience, developing personal presence and vocal projection and articulation. The course will be working, rehearsing and then performing a one-act play for family and friends.
